This summer has been nothing but magical. I was able to spend every moment with my two little ones. Who wouldn't want to do that!? The best part is, that we had no plans. Every day was a blank canvas for us to paint what we wanted. We went to the library, splash pad, water park, to the pool. You name it, we did it. As my time with them is drawing to an end, I reflect on the summer and the many things I have learned. 1. Being a stay at home mom is hard work, but I would gladly do it if I was given the opportunity. 2. Girls and boys are totally different. Lilly is sweet and loving. I have been a pubic school teacher in North Carolina for 6 years. Six long and tiring years. To say that I've loved every minute of it would be a lie, but I couldn't image myself doing anything different. Year 6 has been my hardest year yet. Why after 6 years would something be the hardest? Shouldn't it get easier? I blame CHANGE for all of my struggles this year. This year, my family returned to Concord, NC after an extended vacation (8 months) in Wilmington, NC. We had a new baby.
